Hi and welcome to my blog. I’m Sheraden and I probably should start by saying that I LOVE food. I probably think about food way too much. Is it normal to be contemplating lunch while you’re eating breakfast?
In 2012 I changed to a vegan diet to try and reduce my fibromyalgia pain and it did. Within 2 days, my 24-hour-a-day pain was almost gone and now I only have an occasional flair up and live mostly pain free.
I have since gone from being on a vegan diet to becoming a very passionate vegan. It started out being about my health but now it is about the animals.
This blog though, is all about the food. For years, I thought that vegans were radical hippies who lived on mung beans but I now know how amazing vegan food can be and I have never once felt deprived on a vegan diet.
I live in a small town (Murwillumbah) just inland of the coast in Northern NSW, Australia with my husband Klutch whom I have been blissfully, happily married to for 25 years and we will be celebrating 30 years together this year (how did I get that old?). We have 5 of the cutest, sweetest Muscovy ducks on the planet (Adelaide, Clementine, Maisy, Mabel and LuluBelle) whom we absolutely adore. We also feed 2 magpies (Nick & Meg) and their babies, 2 possums and a fruit bat (Bruce Wayne) as well as many other birds including a Pee Wee named Mary Astor and her son Douglas Fairbanks Jnr.
I work full time but Klutch and I also make animated short films and we currently have a children’s show being made for television which is extremely exciting. I have also been photography weddings for about 15 years although the animation has taken over from that the past few years.
The rest of my time, I love spending time with my husband, TV marathons, travelling, cooking, reading, renovating and trying to fit in some exercise.
Thank you for stumbling across my blog and I hope you enjoy it!
